Trent Young delivers a nasty stiff arm to a Mt. Zion Bulldog defender before taking it the rest of the way for a touchdown.

Going into the Knights’ homecoming game versus the Mt. Zion Bulldogs, there was a small amount of apprehension amongst the Upson-Lee coaching staff. One coach commented that homecoming week was amongst the worst, as far as keeping the players focused.

As it turned out, the coaches did not need to worry, because the Knights were focused and were ready to prove it on Friday night.

The tone of the game was set early, as the Knights got the ball on the opening kick and immediately started to drive down the field behind the legs of JaQuan Bentley, who was named last week's MaxPreps’ Player of the Game against Haralson County. He quickly made his presence felt with a long run to get the Knights into the Bulldogs’ red zone.
