Thomaston-Upson CC Black History Month Celebration Set Feb. 26
The Thomaston-Upson Civic Center will host its 2023 Black History Month Celebration on Feb. 26, 2023, at 6 p.m. Doors open to the public at 5:30 p.m.
Honorees include Eddie Collier, Sr., Coach Darrell Lockhart, Jeff Middlebrooks, Rev. James McGill, Pastor Ricky Wright, Dr. Carlisha Gentles, Connie Oglesbee, Qushanda Skelton, Evangelist Sandra Trice, and Camille Zeigler.
Speakers for the event include Dr. Barbara Worthy, retired professor at Tulane University; Pastor Coleman Dumas, Stone Well Worship Center; and Pastor Mo, manager for Steve and Marjorie Harvey Legacy Ranch.
