Assistant DA Mark Irvin Retires

Mark Irvin, assistant district attorney in Upson County, was celebrated last Friday as he prepares to begin his retirement, following 30 years in law.

Irvin, who says it feels good to be retiring, told The Upson Beacon that he plans to “do work in the woodshop and take a few months off to see what I want to do.”

District Attorney Marie Broder commented, “He is an incredible person and is always thinking of others. He has given his heart to service, and we wish him well in his new journey of retirement.”
