William Allen "Tiger" Turner

William Allen "Tiger" Turner, age 67, of Thomaston, died Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services for Mr. Turner were held Monday, March 6, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Pastor Jereme Chaney officiated, and interment followed at Trice Cemetery.

Mr. Turner was born March 13, 1955, in Upson County, a son of the late James Palmer Turner and the late Helen Louise Railey Turner. He was employed with L&J Contractors as a handy man and could do anything on a construction site. He was of the Christian faith. He was a loyal friend who loved everyone until his last breath.

Mr. Turner, "Tiger" as he was known, is survived by his daughters, Brandy Turner and Angel (Josh) Peaden; his sister, Susan Wilson; his brother, Johnny (Nikki) Turner, all of Thomaston; four grandchildren, Maghan (Chase) Dishion, Ashlyn Murphy, Jaxon Peaden, and Abby Peaden; and his four great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his brothers, Tandy Turner, Glenn Turner, and Wayne "Rooster" Turner.
