Mrs. Kathy Marie McLeod Storey Pitts

Mrs. Kathy Marie McLeod Storey Pitts, age 63, of Thomaston, died Sunday March 5, 2023, at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mrs. Pitts was born May 27, 1959, in Bainbridge, to the late Thomas Noah McLeod and the late Myrtle Regina Rich McLeod. She worked as a property accountant specialist with Southern Crescent Technical College and was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Luther Pitts of Thomaston; sons, Michael (Jaclyn) Storey of Thomaston and Tylor Pitts of Thomaston; sister, Jackie (William) Wilson of Griffin; bonus sister, Michelle Boyt; bonus grandchildren, Lisa Matthews and James Matthews; and nieces, Heather Wilson, Madison (Brock) Morris, Wehndi Pitts, and Abbee Pitts.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 8, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 8, from 10-11 a.m. at Coggins Funeral Home.
